Who We Are

 Hi, I'm Jess.

Together with my husband and kids were the family behind Three Wild Seeds.

I'm a homeschool mum, beekeeper, and someone who's endlessly fascinated by the tiny creatures that keep so much of our world growing.

I didn't grow up knowing everything about bees, and I certainly don't pretend to know it all now. What I do know is that every time I open a hive, I learn something new—and I love sharing that journey with others.

Over the years, our passion for bees has grown into so much more than beekeeping. It's led me to create hands-on learning experiences, write a children's story, and connect with families and educators who want to inspire the next generation to care about the world around them.

I believe learning should be engaging, memorable, and filled with curiosity. Some of the best conversations start with a simple question, and bees have a wonderful way of getting people to ask them.

You'll find plenty of the highlights here, but you'll also find the real moments. The exciting hive inspections, the unexpected stings, the lessons that don't go to plan, and the challenges that remind me why these incredible pollinators are worth advocating for.

If there's one thing I hope you take away from visiting Three Wild Seeds, it's this: you don't have to be a beekeeper to care about bees. You just need to understand why they matter.
